Process Systems Development Project Manager

Job Description:My Client has an excellent opportunity for a Process Systems Development Project Manager at their operation location in Virginia. This is a salary exempt position, reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations and Logistics Development. The primary function of this position is to provide full lifecycle development and management of custom manufacturing and business systems.Job Responsibilities:•Development, management and support of custom manufacturing and business systems •Installation, management and support of some packaged products •Creation of system management procedures for manufacturing and business system processes •Perform occasional computer and network troubleshooting •Provide occasional general IT support •Coordinate IT administration and projects across corporate business unit IT groups as well as with independent IT groups.Job Requirements:•Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related business field required. •A minimum of 3 years of programming within the .NET framework, Visual Studio 2003/2005 and C# is required. •A minimum of 3 years experience managing and programming against SQL Server 2000/2005 is required. •Understanding of ASP.NET architectures and programming as well as various web front-end technologies (HTML/DHTML, JavaScript, CSS) required. •Some Windows Forms development required. •Knowledge of data modeling, data base object design and enterprise database management required. •Ability to communicate and interact effectively with all personnel levels throughout the company. •Ability to thoroughly understand business needs and requirements independently solve problems and clearly communicate solutions. •Ability to travel with some overnight stays required.
