Our client is growing; their technical demands are expanding rapidly, and the existing network design cannot sustain them as they continue to expand. The VP needs to hire a solid network engineer to ?re-design / re-engineer our entire network from the NIC card to the switches ? and everything in between." Sound like the kind of challenge you are seeking? Here?s what you'll need: A Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a technology discipline. Solid, proven expertise in designing and integrating LAN and WAN environments that will support the delivery of mission-critical data in a very fast-paced 24X7 environment. Core technical competencies must include: at least 5-7 years in critical, TCP/IP-based enterprise network environments; in-depth expertise with CISCO routers and switches. CCNA certification, as a minimum, is required; a completed CCIE would be a huge plus. Hands-on expertise with IDS/IPS systems, WAN compression devices, storage area networking and network security solutions would extremely beneficial.Salary to $100,000 ? outstanding bonus and benefits.
