Mutual Fund Expense Analyst

Due to an internal promotion, they are seeking an Mutual Fund Expense Analyst to support the activities of their expense analysis team. The Mutual Fund Expense Analyst will: Review and approve expense budgets, projected accrual changes and expense-related information in financial statements and fund prospectuses. Coach new analysts in all aspects of expense processing and serve as a resource for the group for any technical or expense-related issues. Oversee and ensure the fund accounting vendor's performance. Prepare and ensure the accuracy of financial information, written content and presentations as required by the fund?s Board / Trustees. Ensure new fund launches are compliant with expense process policies. Recommend process and procedural improvements to streamline and automate workflow. Position Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 4-6+ years of related financial services industry experience is required - ideally 2-3 years of fund accounting, followed by 2-4 years of fund administration. Detail oriented with superior analytical, interpersonal and communication skills. Thorough knowledge of the mutual fund industry, expense budgets and expense processing.
