Medical Clerk
America's Staffing Partner, Inc is currently hiring per diem medical clerks for Naval Hospital Oak Harbor. Positions will begin as per diem with the potential to become full-time.
Requirements: Proof of US citizenship, such as copy of valid driver’s license and social security card. Proof of current PPD, MMR, Hepatitis B immunization, and varicella immunity. Current CPR certification.Employment physical.Previous medical clerk or related medical/customer service experience.Previous CHCS and/or ALTHA experience helpful.
Specific Duties:Provides outstanding customer service to beneficiaries of Naval Hospital Oak Harbor by answering patient questions and providing directions.Follows patient registration protocol to politely and efficiently check patients in for their appointments.Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments.Answer phones, take messages, and send messages to health care provider.File, fax, copy, retrieve patient records, and deliver paperwork as required.Related administrative duties as assigned.
