Materials & Logistics Specialist (RL70205)

Requirements: 5-8 years related experience. SAP experience is required. JDE experience is a plus. P&L, Forecasting, and Project Management experience is required. Responsibilities:The Senior Supply Chain Planner supports the achievement of customer excellence and financial objectives via development, leadership, and/or coordination of supply chain optimization initiatives.  This position plays a pivotal role in evolving Global Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) including development and maintenance of standardized end-to-end supply chain metrics.  Incumbent will develop, implement and maintain the systems, analytics, processes and practices supporting improvement in demand forecasting, inventory planning and management, demand/supply alignment, and end-to-end supply chain efficiency.  Incumbent will work closely with global marketing and sales, manufacturing/supplier operations, global logistics, customer service, IT, finance, as well as other supply chain personnel in defining and implementing systems, process, and practice improvements.  Responsibilities also include knowledge dissemination of best supply chain practices via combination of personnel training, coaching, and development.  Other responsibilities include supporting the development of the annual business, or operating plan, miscellaneous projects, and other tasks as assigned by supervisor. How to Apply:Please send Microsoft Word version of resume to RobertLowrey@Spherion.com Include job title, location and salary preferences.
