Marketing Communications Manager

The Marketing Communications Manager will bring organization, consistency and creativity to our marketing processes and efforts. They will be skilled in marketing communications, Web, project management and must be flexible and able to manage several projects at once.

Responsibilities:
- Create and manage weekly Field Newsletter that is distributed to entire company, content is directed towards the iPass sales team
- Management of all print projects: Manages print vendor, budget and quality assurance
- Collateral Layout: Manages layout vendor and budget, performs final proofing in layout format
- Marketing Professional Services: Point person on marketing professional services projects with customers and partners
- Management on internal online store for collateral and logo merchandise. Manages ordering, quantities, order approvals, etc
- Product Launch Support: Works closely with team on launch deliverables, creates awareness, assists with the coordination, planning and marketing support for launch activities
- Owner of Web tools: Gathers requirements from the field on the types of tools that are most needed, makes recommendations and manages projects regarding tools; flash demos, ROI tools, etc
- Hotspot Finders: works with manager and external vendor to ensure finder quality is accurate, weekly data feeds are implemented and special provider launches are timed with launch
- Web special projects: Work with team Director on Web special projects, including redesigns, content overhaul and content improvement on any/all Web sites; public, end user, Portal
- Manage any US tradeshows and event planning and deliverables. Attends shows when needed/necessary
- Participates and/or manages special projects, working closely with Director of Global Web & MarCom
- Provides input for rolling 2-quarter marketing plan
- Actively pursues opportunities for increased efficiencies in repurposing marketing materials and tools
- Brand Guardian

Impact on Customers: Increases preference for and awareness of iPass brand and products. Builds iPass image consistently across media with brand messaging in the forefront.

Key Relationships: Product Marketing, Global/Field Marketing Team, Sales, etc. Competencies: - Industry & Technical Knowledge: Understands iPass industry, competitors & technology
- Marketing Knowledge, Experience & Skills: Demonstrated ability in creating marketing materials, delivering to a project plan and make creative decisions/recommendations regarding MarCom projects
- Presentation/Speaking Skills; Good Communication Skills, and Excellent Team and Interpersonal Skills
- Collaborator/Team Player: ability to work with many personality types, negotiate under tight deadlines and have fun in the process! Skilled at bringing people together
- Web: knowledge of content management and Internet best practices
- Project Management: Must be able to manage multiple projects at once and be very detail oriented. Keeps plans/checklists and always crosses everything off (completes goals)

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing or related field
- 5+ years Web and marketing communications and project management experience
