Manufacturing Associate (RL180547)

Requirements: HS diploma or equivalent. Associate's degree is a plus. 1-2 years of vocation/tech training. Experience with using a fork lift. Certified/ licensed is a plus. Leading-edge knowledge of electronic manufacturing. 5+ years of successful experience in area manufacturing operations.  Responsibilities: Performs functions associated with direct labor manufacturing operations. The contractor will be responsible for a wide variety of routine manufacturing functions in electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies, the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies. This position may also be performed in a manufacturing production environment where fine motor skills and hand and finger dexterity, acute vision, color differentiation in the set up and detailed maintenance and operation of laboratory apparatus is required. In both environments reading instructions, recording results and data, and inputting information into a computerized system is required. This position may be responsible for performing a wide variety of physical or administrative tasks involved with shipping, receiving, storing, crating, distributing, and otherwise handling materials, parts, supplies, assemblies, or other equipment.
