91594 Manager - Applications Development ? Investment Systems Join an IT team of 50+ professionals providing applications solutions integrations, development, support, and production oversight for a thriving asset management firm. The Application Development Manager will oversee application support activities for Investment Systems applications including Trading Systems (CRD / XIP / Predator), Compliance, and a number of proprietary and vendor applications supporting asset management and investment control processes. Functionally, this organization will perform development and maintenance functions as required for these applications. This position will also serve as the primary point of contact with business users in the Fixed Income, International and Compliance areas. Also interfaces with an emerging market business group in support of the XIP Trading platform. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in trading systems technologies and current investment processes and practices and the ability to manage projects, coordinate project-based tasks and handle day-to-day issues escalated from the service desk or support teams. Must be able to coordinate time sensitive project and support responsibilities, have excellent communication skills and be capable of building and sustaining highly productive relationships with other key systems leaders and business managers. Required background includes: 4-year degree in technology or business, or equivalent experience. 5+ years in a leadership role in investment applications development and support. Broad Microsoft products and tools foundation (including MS SQL Server 2005, Sharepoint, IIS, etc.). Experience with COTS applications solutions from CRD, Eagle (PACE) and FMC (Pacer), MacGregor (XIP), etc.Salary in the $100K?s commensurate with experience. Excellent bonus and benefits!
