Company Brief: Our client is one of the preeminent companies in the world and their Federal integration group, with over $600M in revenue, is considered to be one of the best managed companies in the Federal Integration arena. At this time they seek a Business Manager with strong business and contracts skills to work in Washington, D.C. on a high-visibility contract.
Job Description: Reporting to a Sr. VP, the Business Manager will work closely with a program manager as you analyze contract financials and provide timely guidance on current and forecasted revenue, profitability, direct labor utilization and indirect costs for a large, high-visibility ten year contract. In addition, you will be the point-of-contact on this contract for all financial matters including budgeting, generating ad hoc reports from the Cost Point, providing estimate to completes or estimates at completion (ETCs or EACs); verifying task order pricing, controlling invoices and working with DCAA on desk audits ant the like. Our client offers a competitive compensation plan, to $100k, perhaps more, plus an excellent benefit plan.
Minimum Qualifications:6 to 8 years experience in a similar role;Prior Business Manager experience on a long-term, Federal contract;Two plus years Cost Point experience;Strong Excel spreadsheet experience;BS/BA;Expert knowledge of U.S. government procurements regulations;U.S. Citizenship.
Preferred Qualifications:An existing U.S. Government security clearance;Familiarity with FAR, CAS.
