MANAGER, CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS (5330)

Manager, Contract Negotiations (5330) Responsibilities:Manage group responsible for contract negotiations involving structured, long-term energy procurement transactions. Participate in creation of commercial strategies for meeting bundled customer load requirements. Lead coordination efforts of a multi-functional team in creating competitive solicitations. Conduct complex energy planning studies, federal and state regulatory analyses, and other special energy related studies. Brief Senior Management and prepare material for such briefings, on recommended action regarding contracts, energy and derivatives policy, procedures and regulatory positions. Supervise the preparation of testimony in regulatory and governmental proceedings on energy related matters, act as witness in some proceedings. Solicit support from and exchange information with representatives of other utilities, energy companies, industry groups, and regulatory agencies. Interacts with management and other personnel throughout the Company including planning, risk, finance, regulatory personnel and government representatives. May testify before governmental and regulatory agencies. Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics required; advanced degree is highly desirable. Requires a minimum of 8 years related professional experience in origination, energy or resource planning, power contracts, or energy analysis.
