Our business is growing fast, and we are searching for a Library Account Representative for our Washington D.C. office.

 

In this highly visible role in the information community, you will focus on business development for InfoCurrent by contacting new prospects and current clients through phone calls, face-to-face meetings, and networking.  You will also be involved in account management, acting in a consultative manner to provide clients with targeted staffing solutions.  You will also be involved in account management, and help build full service recruitment solutions to high-profile clients. As an Account Executive you will be taking your passion for selling and be a consultant to help our clients become the best organization they can be!

 

This position will also give you an opportunity to actively participate on the local and national level with associations relevant to library management, such as SLA, AALL, and MLA.  If you have the talent and the drive to make it happen, we want to meet you.

 

Qualified applicants will possess the following:

 

●An enthusiastic “go-getterâ€� attitude with a desire to use traditional library experience in a new and creative way.

●An MLS degree from an ALA-accredited program.

●A minimum of three years work experience in a corporate or legal information environment.

●Experience marketing your services or your department within and/or outside of an organization is very helpful.

●Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a team-based, goal-oriented environment.

●Excellent knowledge of information resources, tools and delivery methods.  Familiarity with emerging trends in the information profession is a must.

●Customer service focused, organized, and able to problem solve in a fast-paced work environment.

●Excellent computer skills and knowledge of computer resources, including Internet research.
