Lab Manager, Environmental Analysis

The Laboratory manager will be in charge of all analytical and operational activities, including, but not limited to the following: performing short hold time analysis of environmental samples; overall quality of data reported; managing pack and ship personnel; assisting with project management; and providing outstanding client service.At least 3 years experience in the analysis of water, wastewater, solid waste or other environmental samples required and at least 2 years of laboratory management experience desired.  Knowledge of California environmental testing standards preferred.  Candidates should also possess strong client service skills, attention to detail, and excellent written and oral communication skills.BS/BA in chemistry, biology, natural science or other related science preferred.  This is a full-time first-shift position (Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) that includes overtime as needed to meet workload requirements.Interested parties please send resume to amy.borchard@onassignment.com with 'environmental' in the subject line.
