95414 Junior Java Engineer role This a great opportunity to move into the financial technology trading sector with a later-stage startup positioned to go public in the next year. In a team setting, you will help create new groundbreaking Web 2.0 applications for the financial services industry, including a real-time trading application which needs to scale for a tremendous amount of data, transactions, and users (high availability / high optimization). There will also be projects which will allow you to work on a variety of issues - from multi-threaded programming, to GUI interfaces built in Java / Swing, to database work, to web-applications using SOA. If you're looking for diversity of projects to deepen your java skills within an exciting part of the financial industry, we'd like to meet you. Requirements: B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science. Deep knowledge of the Java stack. Relational databases. Linux operating system. FIX protocol a plus.
