Join Hershey as a Part Time Retail Sales Merchandiser

RSM will sell and insure best in class merchandising to include building displays, packing out product, replenishing displays, and maintain all authorized Hershey Items.

 

The Retail Sales Merchandiser is a part-time position working Monday thru Thursday 9am-2pm. Starting hourly rate will be $11.25 to $12.25.  This will vary based on the candidate’s relative experience.  Mileage is paid at 50.5 cents per mile.

 

-50% time-Sell and maintain 100% distribution of all “authorizedâ€� Hershey Items in assigned territory. 

-30% time- Achieve all merchandising objectives through the effective use of Permanent Secondary Displays and other display vehicles.

-10% time- Reporting of weekly activity, expenses, competitive activity, account changes, promotions and all administrative functions within assigned territory. 

-10% time- Reporting of Daily activities through the use of Retail Handheld units.

 

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities

· High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

· Valid drivers license without restrictions

· Personal vehicle in sound operating condition and Proof of Insurance

· Ability to perform essential physical functions of the position daily (lifting between 10 and 40 lbs.)

· Availability to work 20 hours per week

· Must reside within the territory boundaries

· Access to land phone line

· 3 to 4 years food merchandising experience preferred but not required
