Requirements:
3 years prior experience managing a prominent luxury retail store
Excellent knowledge of diamonds, precious gemstones, and fine jewelry
Strong references from both current and previous employers
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal
Proven managerial skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Job Description:
Sales
Meet and exceed sales goals
Review sales goals on a weekly basis with each sales professional.
Monitor use of clientele program on a daily basis, review with each associate weekly.
Conduct weekly staff meetings to review sales figures, upcoming in-store sales events, strategies for building the sale, success stories with new clients, best practices, maintaining merchandise levels, store needs, Q & A.
On a monthly basis, review previous month's results, strategies to achieve current month's goals, product best sellers, top clients for previous month and their purchases plus the plan for the next contact/purchase
Store Operations
Responsible for overall day to day store operations
Identify, for the local market, partnering and community opportunities to grow business and build new clients; work with NYO marketing team to organize and implement ideas and events around these opportunities; participate in local community organizations, representing the brand and generating new contacts and potential new clients
Review previous week's sales versus current store inventory; replenish to ensure optimum merchandising mix, sell-through ratios, and stock of best-selling styles with a goal of a 1.0 annual turn on the merchandise
Maintain and enforce that all store operations procedures are followed.
Maintain an environment where client service and satisfaction is performed at the highest level, consistently everyday.
Ensure that all procedures are followed regarding inventory management, with inventory counts sent to the NYO daily.
Execute window direction and merchandising of all showcases, according to corporate directives.
Provide all sales and traffic information to NYO.
Ensure that all Merchandise books are properly maintained and kept up to standard.
Work with entire store team to properly prepare for and execute quarterly and year-end inventories.
Training
Develop sales professionals with regular product training/knowledge.
Maintain and build email base through customer contact.
Train and develop new employees
Management
Hire new sales associates based on needs of the business
Create and manage sales associates' monthly work schedules
Coach and motivate sales team on a daily basis
Oversee and ensure daily execution of administrative duties.
Manage reporting of sales information.
Maintain expense forms on a monthly basis.
Control petty cash expenses and reporting of expenses to NYO.
Communicate issues, problems concerns with appropriate NYO partners.
Maintain POS system for accuracy, to ensure sales are being input for correct time periods
Set up POS training for all new hires and provide coaching on POS functions, including CRM entry and maintenance
Ensure that staff is trained to keep all merchandise tagged properly at all times.
