Java / J2ee Developer

Apex Systems Inc. in Ft. Worth, TX is currently seeking multiple developer (s) / programmer (s) for a major client in Ft. Worth.The qualified candidates will have 3 years of experience with J2EE, along with strong Java skills.  This candidate will also need to have strong Object Oriented experience along with UML.  Chordiant Framework experience is a must have for this position. 

This position is responsible for construction and unit test tasks, typically within one or more of the Chordiant framework customization work streams. The position will primarily help extend the Chordiant components from detail technical artifacts, including but not limited to, Use Cases and Class Diagrams. This position will generate and code back-end components and/or corresponding front-end presentation layer functionality.
 
Minimum Qualifications:
* 3-5 years experience in object-oriented methods and techniques
* 3-5 years Java programming experience
* 3-5 years experience with J2EE solutions
* Experience with UML and Class Diagrams
* Experience with HTML, XML, JSP or XSP, JavaScript, EJBs, and JDBC
* Relational Database experience, Oracle 10g a plus
 
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with Clearcase, Websphere Application Server, Chordiant framework, developing applications using an Eclipse Based IDE.

* Design code in accordance with the technical artifacts
* Ability to generate quick and accurate decisions, which supervisor can rely with the utmost confidence
* Ability to support/mentor junior Java developers in researching problems and suggest logical courses of action.
* Self starter and willingness to undertake tasks/responsibilities, which haven’t been explicitly assigned by supervisor.
* Ability to produce very thorough and accurate results.
