Job Description:ABOUT OUR CLIENT- Size: Large Energy - General location: GalleriaREQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE-2 to 5 years experience in a “big four� accounting firm or no less thansix years in combined public accounting and industry experience. REQUIRED FUNCTIONAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE- Posses all the all knowledge and abilities of the Staff Auditor.-Be able to handle confidential and sensitive information with honesty,integrity and trust while maintaining the highest level of ethicalstandards.- Develop their own expertise and assume greaterresponsibilities including taking ownership of individual projects andsupervising the audit team in order to complete any assigned project.-Understand the scope and resource requirements for a given project. Inplanning the scope of work, they will determine which audit proceduresto perform that will help in achieving the department’s goals. Also,they will understand the risks as described in the risk assessment, andintegrate this into audit planning activities. - Takeresponsibility in thoroughly and completely conducting field work andinvestigations. For a given project, the Senior Auditors will defineand organize the content, objectives, resource requirements and flow ofproject assignments. They will keep department management informed ofissues that arise during the conduct of field work. Additionally, theywill gain the confidence of team members and of Company employeesoutside of the internal audit department. - Think through issuesbefore seeking advice, and then to begin to suggest creative solutions.Prepare work products that are to be presented to senior executives. - Demonstrate critical thinking skills in order to understand the business issues relevant to any given project. -Identify opportunities for value adding projects and recommendations toassist others within the organization in performing their duties.- Assist other team members in developing their knowledge of the Company and of pertinent accounting issues. -Develop a network of contacts within the Company. As part of this, theywill be able to communicate the role, function, and approach ofinternal audit to other employees outside of the department. - Discuss sensitive issues with personnel involved.EDUCATION & CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS- Certified as CISA or CIA JOB TYPE- Direct hire PAY & BENEFITS- Salary $77,000-95,000 with 10% target bonus
