You will be interfacing with executives of a large organization on a daily basis. The IT Purchasing Manager manages the entire IT purchasing function on behalf of CDI Corporation and its subsidiaries to ensure that CDI is receiving the best possible price without sacrificing service.   Key Responsibilities: Provide prompt and efficient processing of Purchase Order Requisitions for technology related hardware/software, furniture, real estate construction for CDI Corporation and all subsidiaries globally Provide vendor management for CDI and all MRI franchise offices including, vendor selection, negotiation, writing contracts, vendor performance, purchase approvals and policy, process and governance Drive revenue and create value for the MRI franchise offices by leveraging vendors through sponsorships, pricing and services Must ensure all new assets purchased are properly recorded in CDI’s asset management system Work with various IT personnel and finance to ensure all IT assets are properly accounted forDuties: Purchasing/Vendor ManagementObtain accurate price quotations from vendors and provide pricing information in a timely fashion.  Place orders with authorized vendors, provide necessary follow up on a scheduled basis to ensure timely, accurate order fulfillment.  Verify order delivery and perform fulfillment reconciliation. Manage vendor relationships/agreements, track performance and communicate vendor performance feedback.  Develop Requests for Proposals (RFP), Request for Information (RFI), Request for Quotation (RFQ), assess results, document recommendations and communicate results where appropriate. BillingValidate EIS technology invoices for accuracy and process in a timely manner.  Asset ManagementEnsure newly purchased technology hardware and software are accurately entered into the asset management system.  Reconcile all invoices against the asset tag shown in the asset management system. Ensure that the purchase order number in the asset management system matches with the purchase order number in the fixed asset system. Minimum Requirements / Preferences: 5 - 10 years of demonstrated strategic buying capability, Procurement Negotiation, Vendor Management as well as the negotiation of contract terms and conditions Bachelor’s Degree in a computer technology related field Business travel of 10% may be required Applicants:  To apply it is necessary to include the Reference Code in the Subject Line of your response.
