Read on. Responsibilities:  The Business System Analyst will have the functional responsibility of providing day-to-day support to the PeopleSoft Financials application.  This position includes working directly with the business users to understand their existing business processes, identifying gaps in the system and ways to minimize such gaps, all while gaining in-depth understanding of new business requirements.In addition, the Business Analyst is responsible for production support of the PeopleSoft Financials application, responding to inquiries from end users, overseeing and auditing processes, creating and running ad hoc queries, etc. This position requires on-going analysis of bundles and fixes, and release notes released for the PeopleSoft Financials application to determine applicability and the process of testing these bundles. Requirements:Must have over 7 years of experience in configuring, implementing and supporting PeopleSoft Financials, and demonstrated experience in a functional role with General Ledger, Asset Management, Accounts Payable, and Purchasing; and two or more of the following modules: Billing, Pay/Bill, Accounts Receivable, Contracts, and Project Costing. Working experience in PeopleSoft version 8.4 or higher is necessary, though experience in PeopleSoft version 8.8 is highly coveted. Additional desired experience would include working with the PeopleSoft Staffing Front Office application and one or more of the following PeopleSoft modules: Time & Labor and Payroll. Technical experience with PeopleTools, Crystal Reports, SQL, application messaging, along with debugging PeopleSoft programs like SQR and Application Engine for trouble-shooting is a plus in the desired individual. Additional requirements include a degree in finance, accounting, IS, or a related field.Financial work experience plus excellent written and verbal communication skills is a must, while staffing industry experience would be ideal. WESTAFF is an Equal Opportunity Employer Committed to Workplace Diversity.
