Help Desk Position Available!

A well established food company in Los Angeles, CA, has an immediate opening for a Help Desk position. In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining a full help desk for software/hardware questions and issues; screening, referring and diagnosing inquiries and work requests as they relate to maintenance of personal computers and related systems. Assist in performing troubleshooting and identification of applicable problems relating to PCs, applications, and basic network communications.

Qualifications

-Have working knowledge of PC Hardware and Operating Systems

-Have previous help desk experience (or tech education), excellent written, oral, and telephone communication skills

-Have strong knowledge of Windows XP/Vista troubleshooting

-Have the ability to work with a flexible schedule, positively interact with the customer and possess the ability to work in a team environment

-Have the ability to perform diagnostics, identify problems and communicate problem resolution issues

-Have the ability to properly document all help desk work orders

Qualified Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years experience with computer hardware/software support including troubleshooting, repair and maintenance.

BA/BS degree preferred-computer certification a plus and/or work related experience
