HUMAN RESOURCES BUSINESS PARTNER

Description:

The Human Resources Business Partner will be responsible for providing integrated HR support to assigned business units through a continuing process of communication, issue diagnosis and proactive problem solving. The Human Resources Business Partner will focus on understanding organizational and departmental capabilities and needs, developing an annual client strategy and aligning existing or newly designed HR services/resources strategically supporting staffing by leading change and ensuring compliance throughout the organization

Responsibilities:

·  Provide HR Business Partner support to the business.

·  Consult with client areas on human resource issues of current or future value and impact to business strategy, objectives & deliverables.

·  Develop & maintain working knowledge of clients' business strategies, objectives and key deliverables.

·  Provide HR input & support to the HR strategy plan based on knowledge of client areas. Identify and develop HR solutions to meet needs of client areas.

·  Develop & maintain effective relationships with key contacts in client areas both locally and globally maintaining a deep understanding of individual & organizational capabilities.

·  Coordinate with the HR Specialists to provide services in areas such as Staffing, Leadership Development, Training, HRIS, Benefits and Compensation.

·  Collaborate with staffing to develop strategic-staffing plans, and ensure high level of excellence in delivery of staffing process.

·  Monitor area metrics and performance, identifying problems and innovative solutions.

·  Provide individual leadership & employee coaching & developing.

·  Lead or be a member of project team(s) to support in the development and enhancement of company-wide programs, policies and guidelines.

·  Provide guidance & supervision to assigned staff, supporting individual development.

Experience:

 

·  BA/BS and 5-7 years of relevant HR experience, including previous HRBP experience, and 3+ years as a primary contact within specified client groups.

·  Demonstrated ability to use an analytical approach to problem solving.

·  Highly developed leadership, interpersonal skills including influencing, coaching, facilitation, conflict resolution and project management.

·  Ability to respond to competing priorities across the organization and manage several projects simultaneously.

·  Thorough understanding of HR programs and compliance requirements.

·  Ability to anticipate client needs and resolve complex problems.

·  Demonstrated ability to work independently, and with little direction.

·  Experience influencing senior management & critical stakeholders.

·  Prior experience within the Bio/Pharma industry is required and experience supporting R&D functions is highly desired.

·  Travel planned on occasion (10%), including potential international travel

 

Compensation: $100-115k + bonus DOE
