HR MANAGER

Description:

Our client, in the Life Sciences space, is looking for a HR Manager in Waukesha, WI.  The Human Resources Manager will provide leadership, development and management for all Human Resource programs including; recruitment, employee relations, training, organizational design and development. The Human Resources Manager will also be responsible for the day-to-day administration of employee relation issues, employee engagement, compensation & benefits, as well as overall talent management and career development throughout the organization.

 

Responsibilities:

 Maintain and enhance positive employee relations through communication, consistent administration of policies, thorough and timely investigations, and issue resolution. Manage- Worker’s Compensation, Disability, Benefits, and Leave of Absence process. Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals. Provides counsel to managers and employees regarding all employment related issues. Complete understanding of all Federal and State employment laws including FLSA, ADA, and FMLA. Provide coaching and development to employees on HR issues. Promote a positive employee relations environment through consistent application of open door policy, and promoting open dialogue between employees and management. Maintain appropriate staffing levels within the facility. Implement Company policies and procedures as related to all human resource activities, ensuring consistency and compliance.

 

Experience:

 BA/BS and 5-7 years of HR Generalist/Management experience in a manufacturing setting.Established general business acumen. Proven ability to establish, maintain and influence effective working relationships with internal and external customers. Proven ability to effectively handle highly confidential issues with a focus on appropriate solutions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with individuals as well as with groups of people. Ability to drive positive changes. Strong planning and organizational skills are essential Proven ability in the areas of conflict management, coaching, development, and performance management. Possess a blend of strategic and tactical leadership skills; comfortable in roll-up sleeves environment.



Compensation: $80- 90k + Bonus DOE
