HL7 Clinical Interface Programmer

HL7 (HEALTHCARE LEVEL 7) EXPERIENCE IS MANDATORY!Our client is an aggressively growing software development company, creating innovative solutions within the healthcare industry. Their web-based applications and patented technologies are changing the landscape of how patient care is delivered and managed from within hospitals, clinics and other provider settings. Our client is seeking a programmer with strong development experience. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge coding, logic and data manipulation. Real-world experience in integrating and troubleshooting interfaces with established databases in a healthcare application environment a plus. This position also requires excellent communication and organizational skills. Web application programming knowledge/experience is also desired. You will utilize a diverse set of skills including: MS SQL, XSL and XML programming. You will be primarily responsible for precise analysis, design and coding of HL7 interfaces, as well as troubleshooting existing interfaces. This is a hands-on position; we are NOT looking for an integration manager. The range of integration work includes ADT, lab, transcribed reports, radiology reports, pharmacy, blood bank and any other specialized, clinical HL7-based interface.
