Front-end Developer
95329 Our client, a software company is looking for an experienced front-end web developer (at least five years of experience) for a three- to five-month contract position, with a possibility of turning to full-time employment. Our client builds web-based content publishing tools for the financial services industry. Our client's Manhattan office offers a collaborative work environment. Proven skills and experience with client- and server-side web-front-end development on enterprise-wide systems, creative thinking, and strong collaborative skills will get the job done. Hour-by-hour collaboration with developers in Boston is required so written and spoken English communication is a must. Requirements: Expert-level knowledge of HTML and web production, including building HTML documents from Photoshop comps (including GIF / JPEG production). One year JSP / Servlets. Expert-level JavaScript, dHTML, CSS, XSLT, FLASH, AJAX or FLEX. General knowledge of XML-related concepts, technologies, and tools.Helpful experience: Knowledge of limitations of HTML e-mails. Experience with content management and e-commerce systems. Client-service experience. Struts experience. Solid Java-development skills, including strong knowledge of J2SE APIs.
