Finance Manager ? Real Estate

91998 Well-known, privately held Real Estate firm in the Boston area that has recently doubled in size due to a strategic alliance is seeking to add a Finance Manager to their growing property accounting team! Outstanding opportunity for the candidate looking to leverage their strong leadership ability, financial knowledge and enthusiasm to direct and motivate a top-notch group in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial company! The Finance Manager ? Real Estate will oversee all accounting activities and financial reporting needs for firm?s multifamily properties and consolidated funds, as well as develop, motivate and manage a staff of 7 Property Accountants. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting is a must. CPA strongly preferred. Thorough understanding of GAAP and SOX. Extensive experience preparing financial analyses, financial statements and footnotes. Exceptional management, mentoring and motivational abilities. Superior project management, communication and interpersonal skills. Must be highly proficient in Excel.
