Company Description Leading global technology group Job Description Responsibilities for the Financial Manager include: Compile financial analysis, assist with treasury activities -- including tracking marketable securities, compile and maintain a database of customer credit information and assist in collection efforts Perform internal audits, Sarbanes Oxley compliance, and transfer price documentation Develop and initiate systems, policies and procedures for transaction financial matters and ensure that the financial system is accurate, efficient and in accordance with professional accounting practices, governmental regulations and Parent Company policies and procedures Analyze Business Units weekly and monthly, report financials -- including evaluation of current reporting design and effectiveness Review weekly and monthly results to identify errors and trends and make recommendations for improving profitability and reducing waste and inefficiencies Compile and record treasury investment activity Review customer ageing and work with Business Units to resolve potential problems Perform Internal Audits including maintaining the Company's documentation and test work for its Sarbanes Oxley compliance Participate in a wide variety of special projects and compile a variety of special reports Required Skills 3-8 years financial analysis experience B.A. -- Accounting/Finance Strong Excel skills Desired Skills Oracle experience Company: Execu/Search Group Job Title: Finance Manager Job Category: Accounting/Finance/Insurance Location: Long Island, NY Salary/Wage: 65,000.00 - 75,000.00 USD /year Reference Id: 37994
