Reporting to the Baltimore Practice Leader, Research Professionals will be responsible for developing research and organizational mapping data by phone and via the internet; documenting data in report format for review, discussion and will be accountable for delivering qualified and interested candidates to our clients within the ExecuQuest format, processes and timelines.

As an integral member of our Experienced Recruiting Team, you will be responsible for:

 

Servicing our international financial services and hospitality clients and other practice areas as needed Managing open positions from requisition to candidate presentation Partnering with senior management to understand the skills and background required for each opportunity Providing expert advice and coaching to senior management throughout the recruitment process Developing strong client and candidate relationships and maintaining communication with both Sourcing, screening, evaluating and selecting candidates through a structured recruitment process designed to recruit top talent and deliver critical competitive intelligence for pipeliningThe successful candidate will possess:

Solid recruitment experience sourcing, identifying, interviewing and presenting experienced professionals to our blue chip client baseComplete understanding of the recruiting life cycle and skills in persuasion, communication and negotiationInfluencing skills and exhibiting flexibility to support different types of open positions Demonstrated track record in successfully executing recruitment initiatives

Outstanding communication skills, oral and written Experience in a professional services environment is preferred Bachelor's degree required 5+ years recruiting experience required

 

Previous experience in our search/research is not necessary; professional training in search/research methodologies will be provided.  0% travel.  Critical thinking skills, an innate curiosity about businesses and a competitive drive to succeed are the qualities which engender success in these roles.

Marc Hutto is Managing Principal of ExecuQuest, Charlotte, NC.  His previous fifteen years with Wachovia Corporation in conducting and leading recruiting, research and sourcing brings an execution-focus to EQC in the delivery of research service, Search/Research Success™ training, Performance Coaching and Consulting and Advisory Services to companies that wish to build or optimize an internal sourcing function. 

 

Prior to joining EQC, Marc served as the Sourcing Solutions Director, SVP for Wachovia, headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina.  He built and led a team of geographically dispersed research and sourcing professionals that grew from 6 to 55 over a six-year period.  The team engaged in identifying and developing prospective candidates for positions throughout the corporation.  Marc launched the Sourcing Solutions team in February of 2000 at which time he and his team initiated the design and implementation of technology, processes, people, and service delivery systems in order to support the hiring needs of Wachovia.  Prior to joining Wachovia Corporation, Marc was in sales positions in the industrial manufacturing field and the staffing industry.
