Executive Secretary

Red Lobster is hiring for an Executive Secretary to work at their Divisional office located in Scottsdale, Arizona. Qualified candidates should be interested in becoming part of a dynamic group of professional, dedicated and team-oriented individuals.  We are looking for those who have a strong attention to detail and focus on 100% accuracy.  A can-do attitude with an exceptional customer service mindset is crucial to the success of this employee.  RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE â€¢Provide unwavering, over-the-top administrative support to the Senior Vice President of Operations •Live the Darden core values including: hospitality, respect, diversity, always learning/always teaching, fairness, caring, fun, and balance •Provide total commitment and self responsibility to the position •Work with minimal supervision •Ability to handle information in a confidential manner •Serve as liaison between executive office, division offices, and field crew •Be available in the office 8:00am-5:00pm Monday through Friday •Respond to customer, guest and crew calls and letters in a friendly, helpful, positive manner and assure resolution of issues with zip •Maintain calendar and coordinate scheduling of appointments in Microsoft Outlook •Ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organization •Ability to compose letters and memos from very brief written or verbal information with minimal supervision •Make travel arrangements and prepare itineraries •Prepare expense reports and audit same from Senior Vice Presidents of Operations •Coordinate various meetings on and off-site •Travel to off-site meetings as needed •Vacation tracking •Support Director Team and Divisional Staff •Screen/Route calls; take clear, concise and accurate messages •Maintain home address listings of Senior Vice Presidents and Directors of Operations •Sort/Prioritize mail •Maintain files •Process invoices •Order office supplies •Maintain appropriate levels of lounge supplies •Special projects as required REQUIRED EXPERIENCE â€¢Word 6.0 expertise and a typing speed of 50wpm •Working knowledge of Excel •Excellent written/verbal communication skills, including courteous, positive and professional telephone manner •Excellent organization and follow-through skill •Excellent attention to details •Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment •Shorthand or speedwriting skills desirable •Integrity/confidentiality •Self motivated/directed •At least five years secretarial experience in a fast-paced environment, reporting to Director level or above •Must be able to relocate to Scottsdale, AZ •A high school diploma or the equivalent is required; post high-school secretarial course work or college courses preferred •Flexibility to work overtime •Flexibility to travel overnight to off-site meetings •Working knowledge of Power Point would be helpful •Great team to work for (fun/appreciative) •Opportunity to travel off-site to meetings throughout region 2-3 times a year but not a burden on family life •Self responsibility/work independently •Plays major role in helping directors and restaurant manager as liaison between RSC and operations  SALARY RANGE: $37,800 - $47,300 This position is located in Scottsdale, AZ.
