Entry Level Technical Editor - Data Entry

We are currently seeking  a similar indiviudal to join our Scripps Ranch location.Position Description The Entry Level Technical Editor would be editing database and publications for the Editorial Collision Repair product line. Responsible for producing technically accurate automotive collision repair information from Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) service information within an established productivity standard, using an electronic publishing system.Responsibilities:   Able to coordinate a publication or large section of database with minimum supervision. Maintain status report, including work in progress and completed assignments. Able to work closely with other people to promote a team environment. Keep abreast of automotive industry and technological changes. Attend specified training courses and seminars. Provide product development and marketing input.  Position Requirements:  Experience in the automotive field preferred. This may be substituted with demonstrated knowledge of the current automotive industry. PC knowledge in a Windows XP and network environment, experience with Microsoft Access, Word and Excel as well as exposure to other word processing, spreadsheet and database software preferred. Excellent organizational, time management and people skills. ASE or equivalent trade certification(s) preferred. Must possess good oral and written communication skills Experience with Frame Maker is a big plus.
