About the Company we are Hiring for:

Our Client is a U.S. corporation and represents the products of Fincantieri and its subsidiary companies on a worldwide basis, and offers products and services to the Department of Defense, the Department of Homeland Security, and to commercial business. Our Client brings experience and expertise in integrating engineering plant components and then marrying the plant to a ship's hull. They are the premier source for Integrated Marine Systems.

 

Job Summary:

Transforms initial rough product designs using computer aided design (CAD) into working documents. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision.

 

Job Responsibilities:

· Drafts illustrations for Technical Manual updates.

· Responsible for drafting ILS drawings and R&D projects.

· Assists with designs for various projects, R&D, and B&P.

· Produces and distributes changes to Technical Manuals.

 

Additional Job Responsibilities:

· Assists with typing, filing and correspondence for the department.

· Updates the Current Drawing list as necessary.

· Creates and distributes copies of technical drawings as required.

· Assists with creating and developing training courses and materials.

· Assists the Parts Department by updating Parts Pricing in MAS.

· Assists the Acquisition-Delivery (IFM) team with the production of the LCS

Technical Manuals.

· Provides assistance with minor IT issues.

· Provides weekly reports for the Company Newsletter.

 

Physical Demands:

· Regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk.

· Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. 

 

Hours: Monday thru Friday 7:00am-4:00pm

Pay: $10.00-$13.00 DOE
