This position plays an integral part in the development of new technology for the Defense of the US. This person will be a self starter who can quickly contribute to new product development. They will design and develop activities for new products, from product definition through production release. Involvement lasts throughout all stages of a product's lifecycle, from concept through maintenance of the product and end of life decisions. Ensures the products, meet design and industry standard specifications, as well as reliability and quality goals. Verifies design meets requirements through analysis, simulation and measurements. An understanding of design optimization for reliability and low cost will be a key component of good performance.

Qualifications:
Â
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with 4 years of design experience.
4 years of actual design experience in the following:Â
Analog electronic circuit design and test.
Hardware Design Engineer that has worked in an embedded  environment
Schematic Capture experience (OrCAD/Cadence)
Circuit simulation experience (Tools: MatLab, Cadence, Spice, or similar)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
 Proven ability to work independently, showing initiative, creativity and energy is required.
Ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance (US citizenship or equivalent required)
A good balance in knowledge between theoretical / analytical skills and laboratory engineering skills.

Exposure to:
Â
Analog design experience including wireless, broadband broadcasting, BPL, and telecommunications.
Firmware/embedded logic (C code) development
Digital circuit design and test
Power Supply Experience (Cell phone power supply technology)
Â
Experience not required but noted as a plus includes:
Â
Involvement in PCB level development from conception to production.
Understanding of design for manufacturability.
Networking system design experiences a plus.
High voltage experience and understanding a plus.
