District Manager
ProTrades Connection has been servicing the construction industry since 1990 with offices throughout California. The company specializes in skilled and unskilled labor on a temporary or temporary to permanent basis.
Summary
The District Manager (DM) is primarily responsible for the operations and sales activity of Branches in an assigned geographic region. The DM develops new business, oversees and supports Branch Managers with the administration of the Branch and assists Account Executives in the field and is responsible for meeting established revenue and expense objectives in the assigned area.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
· Responsible for identifying potential new customers, making initial and follow up sale presentations to new clients for the development of new business.
· Develops opportunities for growth and key target accounts and formulates sales plans for assigned accounts and provides inputs to sales strategies for the District.
· Establishes and maintains contact and rapport with employees, customers and prospects with in the assigned area.
· Assists in training Account Executives and accompanies them on sales calls, providing direction and coaching. In addition the DM helps with difficult customer problems and participates in important negotiations with key customer.
· Provides training and development of staff, including one and one coaching and establishing corrective action plans.
· Directs, reviews and evaluates the work of subordinate staff and hires, disciplines and terminates staff and assists the Branch Manger with the same.
· Works with the Branch Manager to assess workloads and assigns employees to ensure the timely and proper level of support for ongoing activities of the assigned region.
· Responsible for preparing the annual operating budget.
· Responsible for the production of multiple reports including weekly significant events report and quarterly review financial statistics.
· Identifies sites for new branches, negotiates leases for approval of the CFO and oversees the design of the office space and opening of the new branch.
· Attends trade shows to promote ProTrades and cultivate new business.
· May perform other similar or related duties which may not be specifically included within this position description, but which are consistent with the general level of the job and the responsibilities described.

· Possess visual capability and digital dexterity to operate a computer and other standard office equipment.

· Visit and inspect outside construction sites, which requires walking and climbing on uneven surfaces.

Qualifications
· Bachelor of Science in Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience.Minimum of five (5) years experience in sales and customer service, preferably in a service industry.
