Customer Service Rep- Gulfport, MS
Labor Ready, a TrueBlue company, has an opening for a Customer Service Representative in Gulfport, MS. As a permanent employee with Labor Ready, the Customer Service Representative supports branch operations and responds to the needs of customers and temporary workers. In this role, building relationships with both customers and temporary employees is essential as well as assisting branch management with territory sales and customer service. This is an excellent opportunity to start learning the management ropes and to define your own career path in either operations or sales. In fact, over half of our Branch Managers were promoted from their former Customer Service Representative roles! With Labor Ready, the possibilities are endless. Candidate must have a flexible schedule and may be required to work weekends. Responsibilities Include: Assist new applicants with the employment process, answer questions and qualify potential temporary employees for eligibility to work. Assist with dispatch by preparing work tickets, distributing safety equipment, selecting employees for job assignments, and directing them to the job site location. Input, maintain and follow-up on accounts receivable. Process credit applications and set credit limits. Make collection calls to customers. Call customers to generate repeat sales and/or set sales appointments. Assist in worker payout and process payroll from completed work tickets. Successful CSR Skills and Characteristics: Customer Service attitude with the ability to work unsupervised Must have valid driver's license and a car that can be used for work One year of college or technical training preferred Retail or door-to-door sales and/or telemarketing experience a plus Strong computer skills, ability to learn and work with new programs Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Bilingual language skills a plus *Monthly bonus potential!
