Our client, in the western suburbs, has a fantastic opportunity for a Credit Analyst!! This client is looking to get this position filled ASAP!!!

Responsibilities:Collect past due accounts Negotiate with customers to establish payment habits to maintain and improve corporate guidelines Manage all incoming and outgoing correspondence Manage all credit and collection activities Monitor cash collection procedures Work will all necessary departments to minimize bad debt Establish and monitor weekly collection goals to track progress Act as liaison between departments and staff Track the success of cash collection efforts and recommend corrective actions when necessary Timely release of customer orders Update customer addresses Perform customer annual credit reviews Maintain customer credit files Provide customers with statements and invoices Financial reporting tasks, routine projects and assisting other members with reporting Produce weekly and monthly analysis, including segmenting and trending the portfolio for analysis Back-up for monitoring credit departments email address by monitoring and responding to requests

Requirements:4+ years prior experience in collections Bachelors Degree Experience using DNBi and Credit Risk Monitor Experience working with large receivable balances Experience working with short payments and account reconciliations ABle to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals Ability to adapt to changing priorities Ability to achieve budgeted and forecasted cash projections Ability to write narrative reports, professional e-mails and misc correspondence Analytical and problem solving Strong customer service and leadership skills Must be able to work occasional overtime Must be proficient in Word and Excel High ethical standards Strong orientation towards high-volume, fast-paced, time sensitive business operations Knowledge of internal control concepts and principles Must be open to a temporary to permanent opportunity that can start immediately for the right person!!
