The role is located in Midtown Manhattan, NY and reports to the Director of Accounting. The Associate Director, Corporate Accounting will be responsible in building a consolidated financial analysis function to ensure accuracy and compliance with the Company’s policies and US GAAP. In addition, the incumbent will play an integral role in helping the business arrive at key decisions by interacting with senior stakeholders and the management team.   The successful candidate will need to: · Provide accurate and transparent reporting of the monthly, quarterly and annual consolidation · Assist in the close process of each regional finance team, including but not limited to, timeliness, accuracy, consistency of application of accounting policies, and ability to explain variances· Prepare materials to support the certification for the reported financials· Lead educational efforts on finance and accounting related issues to global finance team· Assist in writing, implementing, and monitoring accounting policies and procedures · Provide support with the preparation of SEC and other filings· Assist with technical research of new accounting literature and/or treatment of business transactions· Interface with the auditors on the consolidated accounts· Supervise 1-2 direct reports  Ideal Candidate:· 6 plus years’ public/private accounting experience· CPA required· Excellent communicator able to build rapport with Finance Managers globally · Experience with SEC reporting· Strong technical skills and operational aptitude to apply accounting knowledge and investigative skills to identify and resolve issues· Strong project management, organizational skills· Self-directed, self-motivated and proactive· Ability to enlist support and team with peers from regional finance· Able to interact with executive management· Exposure to consolidation software a strong plus· Established credibility and rapport with various regions (Europe, Asia, etc.)· Accuracy and timelines of consolidation reporting improved· Willingness to travel internationally up to 20%  Hudson Contact: Konstantinos KasekasSenior Recruiter – Retained Search, Toronto konstantinos.kasekas@jobs.hudson.com   About Hudson Hudson delivers specialized professional recruitment, contract staffing, outsourced and project solutions worldwide.
