93839 Backline - Applications Support Engineer/Developer This privately held, profitable, and very stable software company's products address the needs of the financial services, government, retail, consumer goods, and communications industries. Located in the greater-Boston area, they are growing the Engineering Support group. In this role, you will provide support services to customers and partners via the web, email and phone. You will also be responsible for developing product fixes, as well as some new customer-specific features and enhancements to the product, as well as customer integrations. Key Responsibilities: Provide requirement analysis, design, development, and testing of the product at post-implementation phase. Post-implementation data extracts, transformation, loading, and data cleansing for the data warehouse. Identify, analyze, and implement scope changes, including billable estimates, as needed. Requirements: 1+ years of software development. Any C#, .Net or higher level programming experience. Prior consulting or financial services experience a plus. Previous exposure to MS Business Intelligence tools such as: SQL Server 2005, Management and BI Development Studio; Visual Studio 2005 ? SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, etc. is a plus. Ability to develop and maintain complex stored procedures that handle large data sets, including the use of recursive queries. A customer-facing, positive and team oriented personality.
