AUDIT SENIORUNLIMITED GROWTH OPPORTUNITYResponsibilities: As an Audit Senior, you will help the supervisor oversee the field audit work, perform accounting of some of the more complex areas of clients' balance sheet and income statements, help the supervisor to oversee the completion of clients' annual reports, and interact with clients to discuss field audit issues. Senior accountants are given a wide variety of diversified accounting and tax assignments under the supervision of different professionals.  Expectations: Prepare trial balances and simple financial statements using computer software programs. Perform schedule computations of accruals, property, and equipment and calculate depreciation expense. Prepare statistical and account analyses. Perform interim examinations of smaller companies where the work is of a repetitive nature, and prepare substantiating working papers in a provided format for a reviewer to evaluate. Perform audit or review procedures as assigned by supervisors. Prepare less complex corporate and partnership tax returns. Qualifications: An undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting and/or other appropriate academic major, as well as CPA certification preferred or in process.
