Territory Manager - Equipment

Golf Ventures West, the nation's leading golf course supply company seeks an Equipment Territory Manager for their California locations reporting to the General Manager; proven track records with customers; looking for hunters and closers that know how to sell; base salary, commission, and benefits.

 

 JOB SUMMARY: Sales position for the commercial turf equipment department which requires a multitude of sales activities and administrative functions.

 

 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 Establish credit accounts for Golf Ventures West with all accounts in territoryProvide customers technical support, quotations and demonstrations for Jacobsen Textron and other allied equipment productsMust be able to operate equipmentEstablish hubs and rotation of calls to service accounts a minimum of one visit every 4 weeks for all A & B accountsAssist Service Manager with Customer Service Specialist (CSS) schedulingUtilize provided sales tools to record activities and maintain updated customer informationProvide quotes and pricing for the sales territory with all quotes achieving minimum Company guidelines of profitabilityMonitor credit history and assist with Accounts Receivable for Golf Ventures WestSubmit expense reports according to established policy weeklyAttend scheduled sales meetings, conferences, training seminars and local Superintendent association meetingsGoal is to call on 120 accounts per month and work with the T-O territory managers and help promote the product they sellMust be willing to make cold callsTurn in weekly, monthly reports, monthly forecasting and any other required documentation to Sales ManagerEstablish Golf Ventures West on all bid lists in the assigned territoryAlways look for new  accounts and new ideas to sell more productTry to sell  parts everyday to all of the accounts in the territory Must SELL-SELL-SELL-SELL-SELLPerform any other functions, as is necessary and/or directed, to assure Company success on all levels

 EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

 

Must have equipment background from the turf grass industry

Can operate a PC for quotes and willing to learn new programs

Will pull a trailer on behind a truck with all types of equipment on the trailer

Willing to travel from time to time
