Sr. Financial Analyst-Business Development
Universal Orlando Resort -- home of the world's two most amazing theme parks, Universal Studios and Universal's Islands of Adventure, the extraordinary Universal CityWalk entertainment center and our three fabulous hotels, PORTOFINO BAY, HARD ROCK and ROYAL PACIFIC -- is currently seeking the following professional to join our team.
Sr. Financial Analyst-Business Development
Create and maintain models used to develop key insights and identify opportunities for product and pricing improvements. Partner with Marketing and Sales to identify opportunities to maximize attendance and revenue.
Job Responsibilities:
Create and maintain attendance and pricing models used to determine the strategic impact of new programs and opportunities. Perform in depth analytical analysis on actual financial performance versus projected/budgeted targets and versus key business drivers to include regression and correlation analysis. Partner with Consumer Insights to identify trends in consumer behavior and develop key insights to provide meaningful recommendations regarding product and pricing strategies. Present key insights and liaison with Market and Sales leaders to identify opportunities for improving attendance and product yields in order to maximize UO revenue. Partner with the individual Sales teams to understand the competitive market within each channel and develop insights and strategies specific to each channel. Ensure then channel strategies are in line with UO's overall strategies and present findings so senior leaders. Ad hoc modeling, and analysis as required Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities. Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university in Finance or Economics preferred. Master's degree in MBA Preferred. 5-7 Years: Experience with financial and economic theory with 1-3 Years Marketing and Sales experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
