Located in the Saginaw/Midland/Bay City area, the Freeland SportsZone is a new 66,000 square foot facility with basketball, volleyball, full fitness, healthy lifestyle programs, walking/running track, community hall with full kitchen and multipurpose rooms. The SportsZone Director performs professional duties managing, supervising, marketing, programming, staffing, conducting membership drives/sales, and scheduling the SportsZone Recreation facility. Director reports to the CEO of the Freeland Community Sports Association (FCSA) and works with the Operations Committee and full board.Â
Â
Graduation from college with a bachelor’s degree in recreation administration, physical education, social work, psychology, public administration, business management or other closely related field and two (2) years experience in public recreation or related field or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with recreation program development and tournaments is desired but not required.

This is a unique opportunity to build a facility from the ground level. Starting pay approximately $45,000 with benefits.  Â
