Production Planner
Gerber Legendary Blades is a market leading brand in knives, multi-tools, lighting, and essential gear for the outdoor enthusiast. We have an immediate need for a Production Planner at our Tigard manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities include scheduling production operations, managing short term and long range demands to maintain level workloads for shop floor, reviewing and maintaining bills of material, coordinating priorities between multiple departments and daily report preparation.
Ideal candidates have advanced skills in MS Excel, MRP experience such as SAP, Oracle or JD Edwards preferred, a BS in Business (or equivalent experience), and a minimum of 1-2 years experience as a Buyer or Planner in a manufacturing environment. All candidates must possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and an aptitude for anticipating and adjusting to production challenges. Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills that will enhance cross-functional team work.
