Marina Manager
Job Purpose:
Serves customers by supervising staff; maintaining marina facilities and services.
Duties:
* Maintains marina staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
* Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
* Maintains facilities by identifying requirements; completing preventive maintenance; arranging for maintenance, cleaning, and repairs.
* Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock; anticipating needs; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
* Rents to customers by advertising and explaining services; obtaining fees; assigning boat slips and/or dry storage .
* Provides services by arranging for fuel delivery, power, trash collection, mechanical, electrical, and structural repairs, cleaning, communications, and storage.
* Maintains a safe and healthy environment by establishing and enforcing organization standards; adhering to legal regulations.
* Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
* Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending corporate meetings; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
