Job Responsibilities Primary job responsibilities and functions are listed below. An Associate in this position will be expected to perform additional job-related responsibilities and duties throughout the Facility as assigned and/or as necessary. Learning Program Development ¿ Provide guidance and direction for the implementation of training for Associates. ¿ Administer practices and examinations, which demonstrate the attainment of performance objectives, and score them where appropriate. ¿ Suggest improvements to processes that will improve performance and quality, increase work efficiency, and/or reduce costs. ¿ Develop and implement changes to processes to improve performance and quality, increase work efficiency, and/or reduce costs. ¿ Ensure management support of and participation in training programs. ¿ Collaborate with department entities, management, and independent contractors for the design or delivery of training. ¿ Coordinate the logistics of distance learning opportunities to ensure effective training delivery. ¿ Evaluate instructor performance and the effectiveness of training programs, providing recommendations for Improvement. ¿ Train instructors and supervisors in techniques and skills for training and dealing with trainees. ¿ Provide orientation and training for other trainers on new course materials. ¿ Provide direction to trainers on Implementation and delivery of training. ¿ Incorporate the organization¿s core themes and philosophies into training courses and materials. ¿ Develop recommendations for changes in course content, materials, or Instructional methods. ¿ Assess trainees on material presented in training (e.g., pre-test, post-test). ¿ Test trainees to measure progress and report on progress of trainees under guidance during training periods. ¿ Report on progress of Associates under guidance during training periods. ¿ Administer course evaluations and gather feedback from trainees at conclusion of course. ¿. Use trainee feedback to improve own training performance. ¿ Seek out and share best practices and learning¿s with others in the Company. ¿ Identify the need for a new process by reviewing the Impact of current practices against expected results. ¿ Evaluate effectiveness of current processes by testing and modifying solutions, tracking results, gathering feedback, and reviewing impact on baseline measures. ¿ Lead the development of new processes to support the ongoing Improvement in the way the business is operated or managed. ¿ Create novel combinations of existing products/services to meet new opportunities or solve business problems, learning deliver ¿ Serve as the lead Instructor with classroom coordination responsibility. ¿ Manage the training environment, including seating and table arrangement, visibility of instructional aids, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning.Requirements: ¿High School Diploma/GED ¿2-4 years training delivery experience ¿2 years training consulting and needs analysis experience ¿2 years learning technology experience ¿2 years managerial experience Learn more about Wal-Mart Corporate Career Opportunities Wal-Mart will not tolerate discrimination in employment on the basis of race, color, age, sex, sexual orientation, religion, disability, ethnicity, national origin, marital status, veteran status, or any other legally-protected status. 2005 Wal-Mart Stores Inc.
