Position: Director of Corporate Partnerships

Salary: Commensurate with experience

The Atlanta Silverbacks are a professional soccer organization in Atlanta.  The Atlanta Silverbacks men’s professionalteam competes in the United Soccer Leagues First Division.  The team competes against teams from acrossthe United States, Canada, and Puerto Ricoduring the season that runs from April through September.  In addition to the professional team, theorganization has a women’s team, men’s under-23 team, adult amateur teams, anelite youth program, a camps program, and a facility that hosts leagues andhouses its’ own soccer specific stadium. 

The Atlanta Silverbacks are looking for a qualified professional with aproven record of developing corporate partnerships; either in sponsor sales, orrelated areas.  Theindividual will be responsible for establishing, developing, and closing corporate partnerships.  Thisposition will support, facilitate, and execute sponsorships for each division of the organization.

 

-Must be a self-starter, highly organized, and able to work well with others at all levels in and outside of the organization

-Prior experience generating sponsorship or sales revenue with an ability to close6-figure sponsorship deals- Credible door-opener relationships with brand managers, marketing directors,agencies, media buyers, etc- A creative, strategic and critical eye to overall sales approach andlong-term planning - Hands on experience activating sponsorships- Must be able to multitask and have attention to detail while under pressure- Must speak English fluently; Spanish speaker is a major plus, but notnecessary

- Knowledge of thegame of soccer is preferable, but not required

- Polished presentation skills

- Proficient with all MicrosoftOffice programs

- Available to work nights and weekends when necessary (must bepresent at all games)
