We are currently looking for a Sr. Product Marketing Manager to join us in our Fire-Lite Facility in Northford, CT.
Position Description:
Marketing Management position responsible for developing, executing and managing marketing activities relating to products manufactured and/or sold by Fire-Lite. Define marketing strategies and communicate overall marketing effort in accordance with corporate goals.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Support long and short term strategies for sustained growth by providing management team with current market data on relevant Fire-Lite MarketsCompetitive Market Position by RegionEconomic and Trade Trends & ForecastsIndustrial Development & InvestmentLegislative Trends Affecting the Fire Alarm IndustryPolitical StabilityPreparation and support of the long term promotional tactics and strategy to be used in the direction of advertising, trade shows and conferences.Ongoing collection of Voice of the Customer (VOC) data from distribution, influencers and end-users for the purpose of product direction and promotional strategies.Periodically conduct channel analysis to make recommendations to the Management Team on ways to improve the end-to-endValue Add Position in order to maximize market share and profitability.Develop presentations and programs in support of short and long term business development.Research, develop and document marketing justification for strategic product development goals to allow Product Management incorporation into new product specifications and upgrade requirements.Develop and recommend specific sales and marketing objectives, forecasts and pricing strategies for products manufactured and/or sold by Fire-Lite.Ongoing analysis of product sales and margin trends.Perform other duties as assigned.Supervision Given to OthersDirect activities of Fire-Lite Product ManagerSupervision received as required by Vice President of Marketing, Fire Systems Group Qualifications
8-10 years experience of technical marketing experience.5 years people leadership and experience managing a team of direct reportsBachelors Degree in Engineering, Marketing or a related field; MBA preferredCommitment to travel 35% of time to develop and drive marketing programsExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Must have working knowledge and experience with personal computer, hardware and Microsoft software applications.
