Senior Specialist, Tradeshow and Event Marketing

Location: Boca Raton Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Marketing/Product Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Job Posted: 8/18/2008 Job Description: Responsible for direction and oversight of all ADT?s Commercial tradeshows and event marketing programs by providing the necessary forethought and management in order to make each tradeshow or even a marketing success at an optimum cost.Duties and Responsibilities:1. Align the company?s Commercial tradeshow and event marketing programs by providing direction and by acting as the point of contact between ADT-Commercial and external agencies. This includes helping to determine the most appropriate tradeshows that will maximize investment, developing the budget, managing the Budget, and providing ROI.2. Coordinate ADT-Commercial?s corporate tradeshows and events by determining most appropriate events for participation, determining objectives, aligning objectives to meet corporate expectations and attendee expectations, being at the shows, managing logistics and manpower.3. Develop tools for the Regions that streamline the ?field? tradeshow and event processes and to ensure that Corporate objectives are communicated and followed thereby strengthening the brand.4. Act as the Commercial liaison for interfacing with Corporate Communications regarding Corporate participation opportunities. (Includes communications, process development, and program management.)5. Manage ADT Commercial?s tradeshow assets including maximizing asset utilization through re-design, re-furbishing and discard.Requirements: Education: ? College or University (4 years) preferred.Experience: ? 5 to 7 years of combined industry and professional experience is required. ? Both industry and professional knowledge are required to perform the job due to the complexity of the various interfaces and coordination efforts required.Skills: ?
