Security Operations Center Operator
Description
Monitor incoming DOD, NISPOM and UL 2050 Rated Security Operations Center alarm messages, respond and dispatch as required. Monitor vital electronic security/facility/office equipment and dispatch security response and/or service calls in a 24-hour/7 day environment. Follow emergency procedure documents and complete detailed written incident reports. Must be able to prioritize and multi-task.
Must have the following:
Requires a High School Diploma or its equivalent.
Previous experience in the Security field or relevant military/ law enforcement experience.
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Experience with the PC's and office software, excellent communication and report writing skills.
Must be able to remain calm, communicate clearly, displaying tact and diplomacy during emergency call situations.
Subject to shift work, weekend assignments and may be on call during emergency situations.
Preferences:
Bachelor or Associates degree in a business related field or equivalent experience.
1-3 years call center, operations or customer service related experience.
Technical security systems and hardware knowledge a plus.
