Security Account Manager

 

Diamond Detective Agency, Inc. is a national physical security company based out of Chicago Heights, IL, that has provided uniformed guards and related security services to public and private sector organizations for over 37 years.

We have an immediate opening for an Account Manager position that will be responsible for the security department for our new client located in downtown Nashville. The qualified candidate will oversee a security staff and must have at least two years experience in a supervisorsy role.

The Account Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the proper training of new employees is completed, and that performance of the security staff meets site requirements on an on-going basis. This person will also perform or oversee administrative functions dealing with staffing and scheduling of the security department personnel.

A proven team leader with a positive attitude is required. The Account Manager must also have strong interpersonal skills to deal effectively with security staff, client contacts and client employees.

The starting salary is $27,040 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Responsibilities:Ensure personal availability 24 hours/day via pager, cell, home, phone, etc. Maintain contact with customers as necessary Act as liaison between customer and management Participate in staffing, recruiting, interviewing and scheduling as directed Ensure that all open posts are covered (cover if required) Oversee post duties as required by specifications of contract Practice overtime avoidance Counsel and correct actions that violate company policy or contract terms Conduct weekly off-hour post inspections as needed to ensure quality assurance Communicate the need for additional coverage and ensure that proper documentation has been processed Maintain personnel files and compliance for employees under direct supervision report all equipment and inventory monthly Maintain compliance for all reports and logs, including Incident Reports, Login Sheets, Shift Reports, Supervisor Itineraries and Training Reports Review and ensure compliance for all payroll reports and forms Forward all sales leads and business development information to sales department Maintain current post orders for contract Execute additional assignments as may be delegated by management

Requirements:Must have state of Tennessee security licenseMust have at least three years of contract security experienceMust have at least two years of supervisory experience, preferably in the contract security fieldMust have proven ability to communcicate effectively, both written and verbal
