Public Relations Manager
Universal Surveillance Systems (USS Corp) is a world-wide leader in Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) systems, Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) and integrated theft detection systems and solutions for retail applications. We are currently looking for a Public Relations (PR) Manager who has the experience and ability necessary to develop and implement a comprehensive PR strategy, which will position USS Corp as the key resource for innovative security solutions in the retail industry.
Responsibilities:Build strong media relationships and create opportunities to profile USS Corp products and its team through articles, press releases, participation in special events, etc.Develop and maintain a media section on our corporate website and keep it current and interesting. Responsible for bi-monthly company and employee newslettersIn partnership with Marketing, develop an effective tradeshow strategy to help us maximize our presence and impact at the shows.Manage our newswire service effectivelyMonitor media for trends and storylines that impact USS Corp and develop strategies to utilize them. Develop communications plan/strategy
Qualifications:Undergraduate degree preferred Minimum of 3-5 years public relations experience, including writing press releases, news articles, corporate announcements, etc.Team player who is creative and flexibleStrong written and verbal communication skillsGood presentation skills Must be very organized and have the ability to prioritize and multi-task
