Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. · Manage the content strategy and development of the Brink’s corporate intranet to make it a world-class communication channel and resource for the company's 40,000 employees.· Skillfully bridge the gap between content and business objectives and provide a unique blend of communication strategy, and technical expertise to ensure successful achievement of cross-functional online content strategy supporting Brink’s business objectives. · Provide expert internal process creation, implementation, and management of content development and delivery. · Work with cross-functional company and functional representatives to make the intranet a powerful communication and workflow tool, thus strengthening its value proposition and driving adoption across the enterprise. · Increase and sustain usage levels by driving a comprehensive portfolio content strategy that enhances usefulness and incorporates multiple content types and formats including text, audio, video, integrated presentations, and animation.· Work with Project Team, Countries, Regions and Global Teams and IT development group to define grow and maintain the Brink’s SharePoint portal. · Interpret and clarify business and process issues relating to the portal, country and regional needs, business applications and development of unique shared information features. · Lead the effort to define and streamline, current phases, future state, processes needed for portal communications as well as internal customer support relating to these areas. · As the Portal development is created and the project nears completion, the person selected for this position will assume leadership/management responsibilities for this group.· Gain business consensus and support for the project and conduct progress updates for key business partners, communicate future state processes and gain consensus from business partners that direction is in line with expected end results.· Oversee execution of defined business requirements for new countries and sites and participate in the build out of these new countries and sites.· Lead the process for defining, creating and implementing future state processes and support. · Oversee education and awareness to include training plans and internal communications.· Develop and execute effective content strategies for internal clients.· Support and develop the Portal Content Management team.· Collaborate with content owners and editors on portal best practices.· Work closely with team from Information Technology Human Resources, and others, to develop best-of-breed portal content and functionality.· Develop and enforce content guidelines.· Manage and administer various content areas and portal functions.· Work with internal and/or external graphic designers and developers, as needed, to enhance content presentation and user experience.· Develop and maintain requirements and documentation on portal processes and functionality.Education, experience, and/or other skills and abilities: · Bachelor's Degree required in business administration, communications, information technology, computer science or related.· Successful track record in leading similar complex projects and managing a large scale portal or web application.· 8+ years related work experience; experience in a large, complex organization, and knowledge of professional services industry a plus.· Proficiency with enterprise content management tools, such as Sharepoint, Microsoft CMS, Vignette etc.· Highly effective people management skills.· Proficiency in advanced HTML and web authoring tools such as Dreamweaver, Homesite, or equivalent, as well as standard Microsoft Office tools.· Knowledge of Flash, Photoshop, and related digital media technologies.· Knowledge of general web site design, usability and portal best practices, including Web 2.0 and other emerging technologies.· General understanding of web traffic analysis and reporting.· Understanding of communication best practices and approaches.· Strong writing and interpersonal communication skills.· Strong customer service mentality and work ethic.· Demonstrated project management capabilities; ability to effectively manage multiple assignments and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.· Formal training or verifiable successful experience in the areas of global project management, SharePoint portal implementations, website usability, process improvement, agile development cycles, strategic planning, and public speaking.· Bilingual or multilingual capabilities a plus.
